I've read that Gerald Genta designed two Rolexes in the late 1960's, both with integrated bracelets and hidden clasps: the King Midas and the Rolex 5100 "Beta Quartz" (a.k.a. "Il Texano"). The Gerald Genta Heritage site doesn't list any Rolexes as iconic Genta models. The legendary artist and designer is responsible for some of the world’s most covetable timepieces—counting the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and Patek Philippe Nautilus amongst his oeuvre—and is widely credited with saving the Swiss watch industry from the Quartz Crisis of the 1970s.
