As per my previous thread I am looking to get a medium college YSL and I do love the gold hardware on it. However based on previous quality issues thread I am very concerned .
If I had to choose a different hardware, I'd go for antique silver. It's stunning on YSL bags. I'm not sure about the difference quality wise, I have YSL bags in both the black and . I have the College in both gold and silver hardware. I love that they have an antique aged look as opposed to super shiny hardware. Try the bag on with different outfits and see if you like it, if not you can return it.
