At 50 mm lug-to-lug, on my wrist (6.5 inches) the watch has an impressive presence. And while it’s a large watch, the super legible dial is what really stands out. The reason is simply the high contrast of the “maxi dial” layout which is used in the Explorer II (particularly the white dial version).
I couldn't decide if I wanted the Explorer II 16570 or the 216570 just based on specs, so I wore each one for the month to see which one felt and looked better. I thought I'd share my thoughts and a few wrist shots here with you.
It has a 40mm diameter, 47mm lug-to-lug, and 12.2mm thickness. That is perfection to me for a sports watch like this. You see it on my 17cm wrist here.
