I believe it is the most popular movement inside the Replica watches and a very simple, cheap and reliable automatic movement. what genuine ETA movement is a direct replacement to the Asian 2813? If you buy a new movement from a legitimate wholesaler you will be surprised at how much better they run.
A few were asking for a tutorial on swapping a movement in their reps, more specifically, reps with 2813 movements. Here I have a Dh Gate Breitling Avenger Blackbird with a DOA movement. Was shipped a new one at no additional . I replaced a DG2813 with a Miyota 8215 and used the same hands.perfect fit. Also, the dial feet are in the same position, however, the date window is about 1mm closer to the center of the dial, on the DG. Mechanically they are not alike. The 8215 does not hack and it only winds in one direction. My google-fu is apparently very bad as I have been unable to find a parts list for the DG2813 movement, preferably with diagrams. A wonderful thread on this site had a pictorial disassembly of this watch but the Photo-bucket photos were unviewable. Any assistance, even good search terminology would be appreciated.
The continuous spinning is more likely due to a faulty 'reverser' clutch. These movements are all single direction winding so that if the reverser clutch isn't doing it's job, the energy in the main spring can work it's way backward and spin the rotor. Here are my results. From 11AM of the first day through 7:30AM two days later (a total of 44.5 hrs), it gained 98 seconds. This is a gain of roughly 53 sec/day. That result doesn't sound good, but what's interesting is that the watch appears to be running better than that initially. You can have a watchmaker and also some people on here replace the movement for you . I have a blue and gold sub with a 2813 movement. Movement brothers !!! The price isn’t gonna be that bad either especially if the watch means something to you. The movement is only 25-30 bucks for a new one.
