I have never owned a Rolex, but I am interested in the two tone sub. I have contacted 2 different AD’s and both have nice, friendly staff. Both have said that the two tone . There is only one Submariner and then there is a Submariner Date. I've never been able to warm up to the Submariner owned a 5513 15 years ago and a four line 14060m.but I've have had 6 or 7 SubDates over the last 20+ . I would think the Sub Date is easier to get. I understand from the leaked sales matrix they will not sell you any Rolex unless you buy something non Rolex first. Then you would have to buy a non SS sport Rolex. Then they allow you to register an interest for a sub, not join a waiting list mind. Well, I’ve been waiting for an Air King for 11 months. I saw an instagram post from Rolex advertising the submariner, so I asked my AD out of curiosity if a submariner is a shorter wait than an Air King.
There is only one Submariner and then there is a Submariner Date.
