What struck me most about seeing a few in person was that a number of models (on purpose) have vintage color lume, with white small seconds. I has a beautiful green color that really seems to compliment the other characteristics of the watch (the big hour markers and numbers). Personally, I'm not a fan of the newer blue Rolex lume, it seems much dimmer and fades pretty quickly. Panerai did this by using Super-LumiNovaTM X1 to outline the case and essential elements. It’s the latest generation lume, and it glows like there is an ’80s neon party taking place on your wrist. All jokes aside, I love that the Panerai designers used lume to draw a watch.
