I know chlorine is bad for gold but what about other materials or the bezel?

I was shocked how much she knew from a 1/2 second glance of my wrist. True, it is water “resistant”, but it’s not waterproof. There’s no actual benefit to leaving it on around water with potential submersion, only risk. The gaskets meant to keep moisture out don’t go unaffected by chlorinated pool water, hot water, and especially salt water.
